HOW PHOTON WORKS

Files, carried by light.

The sender displays file data followed by fresh recovery codes. The receiver uses RaptorQ to rebuild missed data and checks the file before offering a download.

You can start scanning midway through a transfer. Keep scanning until the receiver shows that the file is verified. Start at 15 FPS and increase display size if scanning is slow.

FPS is how many frames we request per second. A 60 Hz display cannot show 120 distinct frames each second, and a camera may miss frames.

Rapidly changing patterns may be uncomfortable. Animation starts only when you start sending. Press Escape to pause.

To install, use your browser's Install app or Add to Home Screen option. Offline mode becomes available after the app finishes caching.
